FCCLA is celebrating FCCLA Week with Mental Health Monday. Did you know that 1 in 5 young people live with a mental health condition and half of them develop the condition by age 14? You are not alone and it’s no one’s fault. It can be scary and confusing, but it is important to talk to someone - a parent, a friend’s parent, a teacher, a guidance counselor - talk to someone because people want to help.

FCCLA wants to remind members to come to room 107 after school Tuesday to create “Valentines For Veterans” as part of FCCLA Week.

AP Exam Registration/Info.  All students taking Advanced Placement (AP) exams this year will take the exams at Lord Fairfax Community College.   Students who register to take an AP exam will be provided with the specific location to which they should report at LFCC prior to the exam being administered.   Administering AP exams at a central location instead of each individual high school allows more students at each school to take the exams.  Students taking the AP exams will have to provide their own transportation to LFCC and will not be counted as absent at their home school on the day(s) they take their AP test(s).  Registration for AP tests will be held in the guidance department between February 20 and March 15.  AP exams will be administered during the two-week exam window of May 7-11 and May 14-18.  For more information, contact the guidance department or visit www.collegeboard.org.
