Student Scholastic Records Access Roster

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) authorizes disclosure of information in student scholastic records, without parental/eligible student consent, to school officials with legitimate educational interests. A school official has a legitimate educational interest if the official needs to review an education record in order to fulfill his or her professional responsibility.

The following employees may have access, without consent, to information in student records:
  • Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents
  • Executive Director of Student Services
  • Executive Director of Administrative and Legal Services
  • Principals and Assistant Principals
  • Supervisors of:
    • Student Services
    • Career and Technical Programs
    • Gifted and Accelerated Programs
    • Mathematics & Science
    • Elective Programs
    • Testing
  • Alternative Education Administrator
  • Division Records Officer/Records Management Specialist
  • Teachers:
    • General Education
    • Special Education
    • Alternative Education
    • Gifted and Accelerated
  • Counselors:
    • School Counselors
    • Attendance & Special Services Counselor
  • School Nurses
  • School Psychologists
  • Social Workers
  • Other Specialists and Coordinators such as:
    • Speech and Language Pathologists
    • Physical Therapists
    • Occupational Therapists
    • Transition Specialists
    • Instructional Support Teachers
    • Behavior Specialists
