JWHS Campus Traffic Concerns
January 11, 2017
Traffic on the James Wood High School campus is a growing concern and we need the assistance of everyone driving on campus to help keep our students and staff safe. When exiting the JWHS campus via Woodside Place to Apple Pie Ridge Road, please adhere to the 25 mph speed limit. In addition, we ask that you yield to any vehicles turning left onto Woodside Place from Woodcrest Drive at the intersection of those two roads. Thank you.

Important Parking Information for All After School Activities and Athletic Events
December 12, 2016
Effective immediately, anyone attending an after school activity or athletic event will be required to park in a designated parking space. Any vehicle parked in a FIRE LANE, along any road leading to or from the school, football stadium, softball field, or any other nonparking space will be ticketed and subject to towing at the registered owner's expense, by order of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Department, the Frederick County Fire Marshall's Office, the Virginia State Police, or any other local, state, or federal law enforcement agency. All Fire Lanes and access roads must be kept open and free of vehicles in the event of an emergency so FIRST RESPONDERS can easily and efficiently access the school building, football stadium, and any other area of the James Wood High School campus. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring school safety.
